Hi,

The metronome is now being used to help runners and sprinters develop proper pacing. What about an accelerating beat to help sprinters develop a fast start? We know what the world records are in the sprints. It's a straightforward approach to use stride length and incremental acceleration to teach an athlete to develop the right pacing to be able to duplicate these records. As a coach I am sure that it would revolutionize training for speed in all sports where speed is of the essence!

Incidentally musicians would also be able to practice difficult accelerations, by playing slowly, and then gradually accelerating, to the right beat.

I think it's brilliant to have an online tuner/metronome but in the next version could you perhaps include tuning tracks for other instrumments and maybe a few time signatures in with the metrenome.

Did you get the SDK yet? I have some devel questions and would like to shoot out an idea or 2. I started playing with the builder and think I might have a way to incorporate sound for an audible pitch monitor. Just a few algorithms, but then people could get real-time feedback on their tuning. Cheers,

so does the 6 string guitar tuner repeat each note 3 times or how does it work? Thanks!
_________
hi Christina! all sounds are mp3 file playback. this is the limitation until we get an Apple SDK for the phone. if you have a suggestion on the guitar tuning, let me know. i thought of making a tone generated file for guitar --it would be louder and bright like the A pitch, but not sound like a guitar / bass. one could be for headphones, one for the built in speaker. what do you think?

THANK YOU!

All the other metronomes stink, and a decent tuner is hard to come by. Hope to see an app version based on SDK coming!

Is this just for me to use when I'm online on my ipod touch? Or am I able to download this?

--It only works when you are online-- we are waiting for Apple to release 3rd party SDK so we can make stand alone programs for iPhone / iTouch! --Drew
